Many factors go into the price of a tattoo, including design, placement, and size. Asking "How much does a tattoo cost?" is similar to asking "How much does a bag of groceries cost?"
Here are a few things we ask you to include when requesting a tattoo session with Danny
Your idea for the tattoo design
Placement on the body (Its okay if you are not sure, just let us know what your thoughts are and we can recommend what would be best.)
Size (based on a sheet of paper/ full page, half page, quarter page)
If you would like color or only black and grey
Relevant reference photos that may help us get a better idea of what you’re looking for and/or the style you like. Photos of images you like will help the artist design something you will like.
Budget, or time restrictions if applicable.
Your idea of "small" or "simple" may not be the same as ours so we’ve created a form with questions to obtain specific details for each request. Our minimum price to set up for a tattoo is $100. Depending on the size and detail of the designs I’ve had a few people get multiple tattoos for the $100 price and others get the one design that takes 30 mins or less. You can submit your ideas for a FREE price estimate today by clicking HERE to Submit Your ideas!
A price estimate will be provided after we have time to review your request submitted to the website, typically less than 72 hours. We will confirm the request was received via email and text message(save the phone number now). From there we can schedule the date and time to meet up in person for a detailed consultation or complete the estimate via text message. Once details are finalized for your design we can schedule your tattoo session, however providing a few dates with your availability can speed things up.
Danny also offers discounted prices for larger projects that take multiple longer sessions. $1,000 for a full day session with 6 hours of tattooing, $575 for a 3 hour tattoo session or $200 an hour. For the serious tattoo collectors looking for large-scale work (projects that require multiple longer sessions) we can get a lot done in a 3 - 6 hour session. If you are wanting to book a pre drawn design, the prices start at $200 and I’d love to show you my artwork.
WHAT TO EXPECT
After we've talked about your tattoo design, requested a $100 deposit through SQUARE, and locked in a date and time, all that's left for you to do is show up! (the $100 tattoo deposit for future appointments with Danny Walker of The Tattoo Shop will be requested in person and paid via SQUARE portal ONLY. If you are being requested a deposit any other way IT IS NOT ME)
Please note that we do not send out photos of designs prior to your appointment. You will be able to select from two different designs when you come in and slight changes can be discussed and made if needed. Danny can’t wait to hear your ideas!
